Ingredients
  

  • 30 oz Frozen Hash Browns, shredded
  • 12 Large Eggs
  • 1.5 cups Whole Milk
  • 1 lb Breakfast Sausage
  • 1/2 cup Bacon Bits
  • 2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers, diced
  • 1/2 cup Yellow Onion, diced
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Chives, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Cook bacon in the same skillet until crispy, then crumble it.
  4. Sauté diced onions and bell peppers in the skillet for 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Spread frozen hash browns in an even layer at the bottom of the baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle cooked sausage, bacon, and sautéed vegetables over the hash browns.
  7. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, whole milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  8. Stir in 1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese into the egg mixture.
  9. Pour the egg and cheese mixture evenly over the ingredients in the baking dish.
  10. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.
  11. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until the center is set and edges are golden brown.
  12. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh chives.

Notes

Ensure to drain meat thoroughly to avoid greasiness. Shred your own cheese for better melting. Do not overbake; the eggs will continue to cook slightly after removing from the oven.
