Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the egg noodles for 2 minutes less than package directions.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and diced onions over medium-high heat, breaking the meat into small crumbles.
- Drain excess grease, add minced garlic, and cook for another minute.
- Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine cooked noodles with the meat sauce, then transfer to the baking dish and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Ensure to salt your pasta water and taste the sauce before mixing with noodles. Adjust seasoning as needed.
