Method
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) and prepare a 1.5-quart casserole dish by greasing it.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper until smooth.
- Drain canned green beans and add them to the soup mixture, stirring gently to coat.
- Fold in about 2/3 cup of crispy fried onions into the green bean mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25 minutes until the sauce is bubbling.
- Sprinkle the remaining 2/3 cup of crispy fried onions on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Ensure to drain beans well to avoid a runny casserole. You can prep the dish in advance and store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours before baking.
