Ingredients

  • 2 cans (12.4 oz each) Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 Large Eggs, preferably room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamo
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with melted butter.
  2. Cut each cinnamon roll into six or eight bite-sized pieces and scatter them in the baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
  4. Pour the custard mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces, ensuring all pieces are soaked.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and slightly jiggly in the center.
  6. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then drizzle with reserved icing and serve warm.

Notes

Ensure to let the casserole rest before serving to allow the custard to set properly. You can prepare it the night before and bake it in the morning.
