- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius) and grease a baking dish.
- Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté garlic, then add crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Boil salted water, add gnocchi, and cook until they float (2-3 minutes).
- Combine cooked gnocchi with the sauce and half of the basil, then transfer to the baking dish.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan, then bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with remaining basil, and serve hot.
Notes
Ensure not to overcook the gnocchi during boiling. Use fresh garlic for better flavor. Let the dish rest before serving.
